Fantastic and spot on. Look for Still Crazy. British rock film with Bill Nighy. Based (very loosely) on the Animals getting back together to record and tour in the ’80s. But the soundtrack is original, with songs written by guys from Squeeze and E.L.O, the Lighting Seeds. I want to say a guy from the Clash is in the studio band that cut the tracks.

  2. Mike Miller – I am a pop culturalist. I write about the textures of life: movies, film, books, social commentary, poetry and whatever interests me. I focus on the 1970s, but anything is fair game.
    Mike Miller says:

Great list. I particularly like including Rock and Roll High School, Repo Man and Singles. Overlooked film music.
